May School of Run: Nutrition Clinic
Join us for a conversation about optimal fueling for both training and race day. We’ll discuss the importance of a solid nutrition foundation and how to have your fuel work for you – during and after the run. Carbohydrates will be the star of the show, but don’t get salty, or you’ll need more fluids… learn about this and more!
Special guest speaker: Kaye Anne Starosciak, a registered dietitian nutritionist specializing in sports nutrition. She has toed the line of over 30 marathons and broken the tape a few times. She attributes her success in the marathon to being a "master fueler" both on the run and in life.
