Fleet Feet Ambassador Team

Fleet Feet Canton is now accepting applications for its 2024 Fleet Feet Ambassador Team!

This is a community team that represents Fleet Feet Canton and volunteers with events and programs hosted or sponsored by Fleet Feet Canton. It is also a group of people enthusiastic and supportive of ALL athletes in various types of events. Consideration for this team will be based on application selection. Fleet Feet Canton is more interested in the quality of the person than the speed of the legs, while both will be considered during the selection process.  

There are two main ways Ambassadors contribute to Fleet Feet and the community:

1. Event Crew - Volunteering for expo set-up and tear-down, fun runs, hydration stations, and race support are some of the ways Ambassadors can play a critical role in our community's success.
2. Mentors/Pacers - Volunteer to inspire, encourage, and share your passion for running & walking while running alongside our training program participants. Mentors/Pacers are chosen from current or past training group participants.

If you are chosen, the benefits of being on the Ambassador team includes a 15% discount at Fleet Feet Canton in-store only, possible complimentary race entries, team events, Fleet Feet Canton shirt, and more! What is the “more"? An ambassador is eligible for a $150 Fleet Feet gift certificate towards a pair of running shoes with every 12 hours of participating Fleet Feet Canton events.

Ambassador Requirements and Criteria

• Participate in at least 3 events during a 6 month period to be eligible for the Ambassador team store discount.
• Must be friendly, non-intimidating, encouraging, and inspiring to all Fleet Feet runners, walkers and customers.  
• Respectfully and responsibly represent the Fleet Feet brand in and out of the store and actively spread the Fleet Feet message through volunteering at Fleet Feet Canton events and Training Programs. 
• Be involved, educated, and enthusiastic about what Fleet Feet Canton is all about. From our Fit Process and products to our Training Programs, Fleet Feet Ambassadors will help us spread the word about ways to get our community FIT.  
• Ambassadors would be encouraged but not required to to help spread the message of what Fleet Feet offers via their own social media. Sharing posts and messages, connecting and linking friends and family to program opportunities, and helping us enhance our online presence in our community.
• All ambassadors will be expected to wear Fleet Feet clothing at races/events. Fleet Feet Canton shirts will be provided.
