What is Shoes on Students?
Shoes on Students is a fund that helps donate running shoes to local high school athletes. We are looking for your input-if you know of a high school cross country program that could use our assistance, please contact us. Every year we have been able to expand our program to help more kids throughout Western New York. Running the 15K helps us to give local high school runners the tools they need to compete at their best. When we started the event in 2007 our goal was to use the event to not only promote the City of Buffalo, but also to use the proceeds from the event to have an immediate, positive impact on our local community. Our goal is to grow the race to the point where we can donate at least 1000 pairs of shoes every year.
