Winter Warriors is a 10 week running program for men and women to help keep you active and social during the cold winter months. This program is for runners and walkers of all abilities, but you won't just be running! Each week we will have a 45 minute high intensity strength workout to target those muscle groups that could use a little extra attention. The group runs will have informal pace groups and you will have the option of running a 2, 3 or 4 mile route at your own pace.
*Please note: this is a program for recreational runners. This program does not have a training plan or mentors. If you are a beginner runner looking for more instruction, please consider our No Boundaries 5K Training Program.
As part of the Winter Warriors program participants will receive the following:
**Group runs to keep you motivated
**Nuun hydration after every run
**Fabulous people to work out with and commiserate with about the winter weather
**Weekly strength workout

**Gear up punch card for participants only with special discounts
**Facebook group for participants only and access to a training program graduates Facebook group after program completion
When: Weekly group runs/walks will be at 6:00 pm on Thursdays and our strength workout will be on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm. This program will be limited to a maximum of 35 total participants. Our program kick off and first run/walk will be on November 21. **There will be no strength sessions on December 24 or 31.
Where: The runs will leave from Fleet Feet Bloomington and head toward the neighborhoods east of Hershey. Our strength workout will be at Create Your Power Fitness, 1524 E. Lafayette Park Drive in Bloomington.
Program Cost: $60 per participant. And we've got a great incentive to help you #ShowUp: attend just 10 workouts and you will receive a $25 Fleet Feet gift card for being a successful Winter Warrior. Those who have 100% attendance will be entered into a drawing to win their entire program fee back AND a free week pass to Create Your Power Fitness. Registration paid with a credit card must be completed online - you may register in-store with cash.
While it is our hope that everyone joins the program with the intention of attending both the run and the strength workout, we understand that some people may be interested in a run-only winter running program. You may register for the run-only option for $35 but will not have the opportunity to earn a gift card or any other attendance incentives. You will still receive all other program perks.
