Looking for a fun running weekend in 2022? Fleet Feet is inviting runners from across the country to a special VIP race weekend at the 30th Anniversary Austin Marathon, Half and 5K. Locally we will be offering a 12 week training program for the Half Marathon on Sunday, February 20, 2021.
The Fleet Feet Bloomington 2022 Austin Half Marathon Training Program is designed for intermediate or advanced runners. If you commit to the training we can help you cross the finish line of your first half marathon or be there when you crush your last time and get that PR. Participants will receive a training program calendar with workouts throughout the week and we will come together on Saturdays for our group long run. We will motivate each other but will not have mentors. Participants should have completed at least one recent 5K or 10K and be able to comfortably run three miles at the start of this program
**If you are a beginner that would be successful with more guidance and the motivation of mentors consider signing up for our spring 10K/Half Marathon Training program that will start in January and graduate in April.**
There will be an optional informational session on Tuesday, November 16 at 7:15 pm at the store. Meet your program coaches and get your questions answered.
When: Weekly group training runs will be at 8:00 am on Saturdays. Our first group run will be Saturday, December 4 at 8:00 am.
Where: The group will meet at Fleet Feet Bloomington, Tipton Park, Rosa Parks, Jersey Hill, White Oak and other places around town. Participants will receive a program calendar that highlights where the group will meet each week as well as weekly email reminders.
Program Cost: $60 (does not include race fee or any race travel)
