The 2023 Austin Marathon Pacer Long Run

Austin Marathon Pacer Long Run - Sunday, January 29th at 6:00am at Fleet Feet Austin (Seaholm) - If you’re running the Austin Marathon or Half Marathon, this is one you will not want to miss. We’re hosting the Austin Marathon Pacer Team and hitting the roads for a race-pace simulation, covering different distances based on your training needs. This is a great chance to meet and connect with the Pacers in advance of race day, while familiarizing yourself with the course. 


Please review all of the below notes, as they'll help ensure our effort is streamlined and your experience is memorable.

Pacers for the following goal marathon times will be present for the Pacers Long Run: 

3:05, 3:10, 3;20, 3:25, 3:30, 3:35, 3:40, 3:45, 3:50, 4:05, 4:20, 4:35, & 4:50

A few tips: 

  • This is not a closed-road course, so please ensure you’re keeping to the right and running on the adjacent sidewalks along the course(s). Proceed with caution, as traffic will be ever present.
  • We strongly encourage you to bring your chosen hydration bottles, as we’ll have a few hydration stations along the course and paper cups will be limited.
  • Restrooms are limited at the store and on course, please plan accordingly.
  • We will use do a mass run start promptly at 6:00am, so please allow yourself enough advance time. 
  • Please review your chosen distance and route details in advance of the Pacers Run, as mile markers will not be implemented on the course. 
  • Parking - FREE Street Parking all day Sunday or nearby paid garages.
