Saturday, December 2nd - Community Walk and Run with The Autoimmune Athlete, Joshua Bradley, featuring the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation NorCal Branch We’ll head out from the store nestled in the Santa Cruz forests for a 3- or 5-mile run or walk. This running and walking event will be a noncompetitive community run to raise money for treatment and research by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and to increase awareness about and solidity in the movement to increase access to treatment and changes in our culture and world to decrease the environmental causes of autoimmune diseases. We will have refreshments and a raffle prize to top off the celebration of moving together towards a cure! This event is free or donation-based, with all proceeds going to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. Friday, December 1st - Exclusive Event: An Evening with the Autoimmune Athlete: We are proud to feature author of the acclaimed Crohn’s Disease AIP Cookbook, local runner and Fleet Feet mentor and ambassador, owner of Switch Bakery, and Autoimmune Athlete and activist Joshua Bradley for an Evening with the Autoimmune Athlete and book-signing event, where we will hear Joshua’s compelling story and discover the radical permission we can give ourselves to fiercely pursue living, working, and running a whole life with an autoimmune disorder.
