Interactive Foam Rolling Clinic in Annapolis!

The weather is getting warmer, and that means - the miles are getting longer! Stay injury-free and join us for our interactive foam rolling clinic to learn how to use your foam roller!

Our instructor, Jennifer Kyritsis Balducci, PT, MSPT, Cert. MDT from One. Physical Therapy  is a running advocate and “foam roller”, and frequently uses Foam Rollers to help aid in her patient’s recovery. 

Topics will include:

  • Common runner's Injuries and how to treat them with a foam roller 
  • Myofascial release techniques and exercises for specific muscles
  • Using the foam roller for a healthy upper back

The Foam Roller is known as a “runners best friend” because of it’s capability to:

  • Increase flexibility and mobility
  • Offer intense massage that elongates and lengthens muscles
  • Limit and decrease soreness and tightness in muscles
  • Reduce the risk of injury – especially torn or pulled muscles
  • Improve Performance
  • Provide a platform for core strengthening exercises

Please bring your foam roller with you to the clinic, as this will be an interactive demonstration with one-on-one help and assistance. Dont have a foam roller? Fleet Feet Sports will have foam rollers on hand for you to purchase at a special participant discount! Pick one up before the clinic, or watch the clinic – and purchase your foam roller afterwards.
