The Fleet Feet Running Club is proud to offer its Fleet Feet Distance Project training program to help you achieve your goals at the popular marathon and half-marathon distances. To ensure your success and safety, we strongly suggest the following guidelines.
Half Marathon Training Participants
Half-marathon runners should be running at least 4-5 days/week, for a minimum of 20 miles per week, prior to starting the program. A weekly long run of at least 6 miles should be run at under 11:30 minute per mile pace.
This is not a run/walk program. If this pace is challenging, please consider our 5K Advanced/10K program to work on your endurance and speed before attempting a half-marathon program.
