Beginning Monday April 10th at 6pm and based out of the Albany Fleet Feet location, this weekly program will introduce you to walking as a joyful way to Move With Purpose.
Each Monday, you will gather with this community to engage in learning and movement. The learning will feature a Movement topic led by Dr. Kim Kilby and a Mindfulness topic led by Dr. Benita Zahn. Get supported with setting your vision, finding your WHY, injury prevention, self-care, and so much more. After the learning and a brief warm up, each session will lead you through a coach-led purposeful walking movement portion, ending with a gentle stretch. The program will include suggested outlines for home-based walking on your own.
Those who have interest are invited to optionally train for walking the Freihofer’s Run for Women 5K and/or the Firecracker 4 mile events (races are not included in program fee, require individual race registration, and are completely optional).
