Saucony’s tagline for their new, highly-anticipated carbon-plated racer is “You, but faster.” Ever since running shoe companies started incorporating carbon-fiber plates into the midsoles of some of their racing flats, everyone has been curious to see what Saucony was going to come up with. We can unequivocally say that the Endorphin Pro was worth the wait. Saucony’s S-curve carbon fiber plate makes running at top speed feel more comfortable by propelling you forward. The S-curve carbon fibre plate is just one aspect, however, of the technology designed to make you run faster that Saucony is calling SPEEDROLL Technology. In addition to the carbon plate, the brand-new Endorphin Pro uses elevated cushioning and a stiff forefoot, which results in a more responsive ride. Saucony developed a new ultralight and springy PEBA-based superfoam midsole material called PWRRUN PB to enhance performance. When you are running at higher speeds it is important to have a comfortable, locked-down upper. Saucony achieves this through FORMFIT, an upper that hugs the foot with 3D comfort using a “hyper-light” engineered mesh. The upper strikes the perfect balance of support, comfort, and ventilation. Saucony is confident that this is the fastest shoe they have ever built. We are confident that you are going to love it for racing, as well as for your faster-paced speed work sessions.
