New Balance 860 v11

The updated New Balance 860 makes some significant changes. This is the latest New Balance shoe to embrace Fresh Foam as a midsole material. Although Fresh Foam is lighter and softer than its Trufuse predecessor, the shoe remains the workhorse in New Balance’s stability line. A firm medial posting and a secure engineered mesh upper makes for a very stable shoe. If you liked version 10, you will be very happy with the latest, updated version. Fresh Foam results in a smoother and more cushioned ride overall. An additional topsole of Fresh Foam X makes the 860 v11 noticeably more responsive for a stability shoe. Next, the Ultra Heel now has a flared heel collar to reduce pressure and irritation on the Achilles tendon. This is a significant improvement over the previous Ultra Heel which could irritate the Achilles. This is a great update that makes a reliable, everyday trainer more comfortable and more fun to run in.
