Fleet Feet Albany & Malta Reopening on Monday, June 8

Great News! Fleet Feet Albany and Malta will be reopening on Monday, June 8. We will be open from 10:00-6:00 PM, Monday-Saturday, and noon-4 PM on Sunday. To protect the health of our patrons and staff, your shopping experience will look a little different. We are encouraging everyone to make an appointment to schedule shoe fittings, as well as curbside pickups. Over time, as everyone becomes more comfortable with the "new normal" we will be offering additional appointment times for additional services. We will still, of course, accept walk-ins, but there might be a wait due to the fact that we need to control the maximum number of people in the store at any one time. Our new scheduling software, however, will allow us to put you on a waitlist and send you a text when we are ready to serve you. 

Everyone -- for your safety and our staff's safety -- will be required to wear a mask. There will be no exceptions to this policy. It is for everyone's safety. When entering the store, you will now be using the side entrances at both the Albany and Malta locations. This is to make sure that when customers are checking out of our stores they do not become entangled with customers entering the store. To further facilitate movement within the stores there will be markers (Fleet Feet's Blue Flame Logo!) on the floor to help navigate through the store. 

We also ask that only two people per party visit the stores. Again, this is to make sure that we can maintain social distancing within the store. For the duration, customers will also be putting on their own shoes so that we can maintain social distancing protocols. If you need assistance putting on your shoes, please bring a family member or friend who can help you out.

Although apparel is still available for purchase, the fitting rooms are currently closed. Be sure to consult with a staff member if you need some help with sizing. Unfortunately, you will no longer be able to take the shoes outside for a spin. We will, however, have the treadmill available and it will be thoroughly cleaned after each use.

You will see a lot of hand sanitizer throughout the stores. We insist that for the safety of everyone you sanitize your hands before leaving the greeting area. Generally, movement through the stores will be more supervised so that we can maintain social distancing. 

There will be some changes to your shopping experience when you first arrive at Fleet Feet Albany & Malta. We hope that our new safety policies will help ease your mind and allow you to have a positive experience.
