At Fleet Feet Malta and Fleet Feet Albany, it is a privilege for us to contribute to local organizations helping others.
Race Events & Packet Pick-Up
Within the running community, we partner with those creating superb competitive experiences. We frequently host packet pick-ups for local and regional races in our stores and enjoy interacting with race planners to help support the very best selection of competitive events for Capital Region athletes.
Giving Back By Partnering With Local Charities
Our charitable involvement is always growing and evolving, and includes:
24-Hour Fight Against Hunger
24-Hour Fight Against Hunger, an all-day, all-night running effort, where we invite people to make a contribution to support the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York and run as many miles as they would like. We encourage teams and groups to participate, create a party-like atmosphere in our stores with treadmills in place for those who wish, and host a raffle with fabulous prizes from local businesses and running industry connections.
Don’t miss this event, it’s loads of fun and every penny raised goes to benefit the hungry. Check our Events Calendar for dates.
Girls on the Run
All Fleet Feet stores nationwide are connected to local chapters of this organization, which offers a life-changing program for 8- to 13-year-old girls that promotes empowerment by teaching life skills through lessons and running.
Pitney Meadows Community Farm
This non-profit in Saratoga Springs is doing many wonderful things to bring community, farming, and recreation together. We are supporting the development of a trail network that will increase the running terrain available in Saratoga Springs.
We invite customers to drop off gently-used athletic footwear in our stores to benefit various charities that provide footwear to their clients, including the Schenectady Mission, CAPTAIN Youth & Family Services, sneaker drives for schools raising money for playgrounds, and more. Our donation bins are inside the store near the checkout area. Please tie together the shoelaces for each pair so the shoes don’t get separated.
