The more foam concept is amazing, however, i am not sure if it is the new shape (compared to the 1080 fresh foam im used to), but these shoes gave me severe leg cramps from switching “shapes” in the shoe. The only reason i had to try something new was because of the new 1080 design that now makes my baby toe rub, but never had that issue prior to version 12. I have had this new balance shoe for years and years so i am highly disappointed. I am returning these shoes today (within return policy), and after giving the new shoes a fair chance (used walking through the airport), and i found the old version online so purchased 3 pairs so i am not stuck without a shoe that works for awhile. I will try again in about a year when i work my way through these 3 new pairs of shoes coming (version 11 of the 1080 was great!) Goodluck — maybe worth a shot but new balance really changed so much it’s not comfortable. Too narrow/the heel tight again and more fitted — not a fan at all of the new version 12 and these more foams are not working either :(
My physical therapist recommended the Fresh Foam v3 because of the rolling action of the shoe sole. The action allows the foot to roll forward, pushing off with the ball & toes with each step. My previous shoes were putting immense pressure on the balls of my feet. I’m extremely happy and noticed that I walk faster and for longer distances, with no foot pain. In the past months, I’ve purchased 3 pairs - my go to shoes for daily walking and everyday activities.
I feel virtually nothing after a 10 hour day on my feet. I usually do 24k steps a day. And this shoe meets all my expectations. It feels better than the Hoka Clifton 7s. Great recovery to my feet. And has eased my Planters Facitous. Definitely worth the money.
I’ve been coming to Fleet Feet for years and am always happy with the service, products and the expertise of the staff.
It took a little bit to break them in. The tongue is stiff and I would prefer it be shorter because it rubs on my ankle and front part of my foot. The heal is tall in the back and rubs on the back of my foot and is also stiff. It would be nice if there was more of a give to them and softness to the tongue and heal. The shoe does have a lot of cushion and I can walk in them for a long time and my feet don't hurt like they would in my other shoes that I walk in. They are pricey. They do run true to size. I normally wear a size 11 and I ordered a 10.5 and 11 because I didn't know. At first I thought the 10.5 was the right size, but after trying them both on, I decided to go with the size 11. Overall I'm glad I purchased these shoes.
Love the shoes! Salesman was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Shoes had to be ordered and I received them very quickly.
The shoes are super comfortable and light. They provide lots of support through an entire day on my feet. The insole comes out to place my own prescribed orthotics inside. Very nice shoes
I was debating between Hoka Bondi and these. I'm so glad I went with these NB shoes. I'm on my feet a lot and by the end of the day my feet hurt so much. Not with these, everytime I take a step my feet feel so comfortable, as if I'm stepping on endless pillows. I've been recommending them to everyone I know. I'm between 7.5 and 8 in women's and I went with 7.5 which fit perfect.
I’m an avid Hoka One One wearer, but It was recently suggested by my excellent fit specialist at Fleet Feet to give these New Balance a try after I had some issues with recent Hoka’s. They are fabulous. They offer similar support and a rocker motion as the Hoka’s - maybe better. This is critical for my grumpy, wide, feet. They accommodate my orthotics really well too. An added bonus is the sporty teal color they came in.
I LOVE these shoes! I am a nurse and spend hours on my feet, running, walking and standing. I have searched all brands for some shoes as good as the Morv1 that I had sometime ago. New Balance found the right mix and the Morv3 are a lot closer than anything else I have found. I will admit, I have only worn them once so far, but never had any break in issues. For now, they feel like walking or running on clouds. My feet and legs feel good after 12 hours of running or walking. I would recommend giving these a try.
