Not as good as previous version
I loved my old 1080’s! They had great cushion and felt good on my wide width/ high instep foot. Well, this new version still has the nice cushion, but they changed the upper. It is now a booty fit with an elastic piece on the sides to hug the top of your foot to the bottom of the shoe. It was too tight for my high instep. I returned my side D with and got a size EE width. Never had to do that before. The EE feels better, but because of the “booty”, it’s just not as comfortable on the top of my foot. There seems to be less padding on the top. Also, the laces don’t go down as low, so I can’t adjust for my high instep as easily as I could on my previous model. Overall, I’ll keep them because there isn't anything else out there that will fit my foot, but I really really miss the old version. New Balance, why mess with a good thing?
The best athletic shoe I've ever worn
These shoes fit my wide feet perfectly and the cushy sole provides just the right amount of arch support. Breathable and light, I've been using these for pilates, running, and weight training and they haven't let me down yet. True to size.
they look good
I love the look and finally found a great color. The comfy foam was awesome when I tried it on, but long walking or any running makes it feel like there is no foam under the ball of my foot

So very grateful to your salesperson Kim for being so awesome! She helped me through all the testing and fitted me with the perfect shoe. I had been suffering with awful blisters and was wearing the wrong size shoe (who knew?). Now I am able to walk in full comfort and no more blisters! I highly recommend her and your staff!
Comfortable!
This is one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever purchased! I especially love the upper heel where it turns out. It never digs into the back of your ankle.
Love the fit
Love the fit! I have short & wide feet and these are a perfect fit & look good. I now have them in a couple of colors.
New favorite shoes
I went in to buy my normal brand. I picked a couple of the new models. My outfitter Keaton, brought out everything I requested and a box of these. I tried on one on one foot and one on the other, and one by one process of elimination with the New Balance being the last one, was the one that was the most comfortable, light, exact amount of cushion that was right for me. Although they didn't have them in the color I loved, He ordered them for me online and they were shipped to my house 2 days later. Thank you Keaton for helping me find my new favorite shoe!
Comfy and light!
These are good on shorter runs. I sized up. super comfortable and light. and it's a really good looking shoe.
Not like the first pair
I bought two pairs of the previous model of this, in 2019. This pair doesn't seem to have as much cushion as the previous ones. Unfortunately, I'm working long hours and didn't get to return them on time. I'm curious as to whether the manufacturing has been moved, since the other ones were made. I do like the color, though. It's fun and vibrant.

I have these shoes in 3 colors. I work at Amazon and needed some comfortable shoes for walking on concrete for 10hr shifts. These are awesome cushion between your feet and the concrete. I also use these shoes for running. With the extra cushion it really keeps my joints from hurting. Love these shoes!!
