This shoe has extra cushion in the heel which is exactly what i need since I'm a heel striker. No more heel pain.

I have wide short feet, with problematic toes. These are the ONLY shoes I have found with the right balance of great support, good cushioning, and adequate width. It would be nice if they actually made a different color from year to year. It's stupid that I have to buy the exact same shoe 2 years in a row. Nonetheless, I am glad that New Balance is committed to making wide shoes!

The 2E are definitely roomy enough for wide feet. I'm grateful for them. Now, if we could only get more styles and colors in 2E's!
