Women's Brooks Glycerin 18
The Glycerin 18 is perfect for my foot shape and my needs for a cushy shoe. I have a narrow foot overall, but also need a little wider toe box. Due to some foot issues, I also need a softer feel underfoot. This shoe does the trick. The Glycerin is my Go-To shoe and has been since model 15.
Glycerin 18's Still Great
Had to return the Glycerin 19's (and so did my daughter). The new design was a problem in different ways for each of us and enough that we just could not wear them. Went back and ordered 18's while I still could as they have been perfect!
Not sure yet
These are working out just okay. Last year I bought the Ghost 12 and felt bouncy and amazing at the beginning. I've walked a lot already in the Glycerin, but haven't felt that same feeling. I may return at the end of the review period for the newest Ghost shoes instead; or try Hoka.
Good shoes, but they don't fit me anymore.
I've been wearing Brooks' glycerin and ghost shoes for years--I have a hard time finding shoes that fit so once I did I stuck with them. These were great for a week, but after that they started rubbing blisters into my heels. Super bummed since that's way too long to return them. :( But if they fit you they're great shoes!
Found a new she i love !
I went from loving Brooks Levitate, which I have been wearing every one of them since they came out. Levitate 4's didn't impress me so, I thought I would try the Glycerin 18. I have been reading reviews and comparing for awhile now. I am hooked, bought my first pair and ran a 1/2 marathon in them. The cushion in them is great!
Most comfortable running shoes!
Most comfortable running shoe I've ever owned
The cushion on your feet and the airy feel of the shoe makes running for me much more enjoyable. Trying to find a shoe that was comfortable and not clunky was a struggle until I found Fleet Feet. I recommend this pair to anyone who has issues with long runs or walks.
I love these shoes but not sure they love my feet . Seem tight and stiff. Breaking on at home . Taking them to PT to see if I need another style .
On the one hand, my new Brooks Glycerin 18's are crazy comfortable, but on the other, I am concerned that the cushion may be too, well, cushiony. I am walking several miles most days at a peppy pace. I have struggled with plantar fasciitis in the past, and if my arch isn't well supported, I fear that my feet will become problematic again. My pair before this one were Glycerin 15 and I love them! Just concerned about mileage. We'll see if my fears are founded or not.
