Very good shoes!
THOUGHTS: Swiss engineering, as the makers claim, shines through in this long-run shoe. At a little over 10 oz, this is not the lightest shoe you'll find in the trainer/race day shoe category, but the novel midsole design makes the shoe feel lighter than it actually is. I marathon PR'd in these shoes last fall, so naturally I have a soft spot for them. Ride feels fairly soft on longer runs with a decent energy return, although I'd say you'll likely start seeing some fatigue after 20 miles. The mesh upper is quite breathable, even on hot summer days, and offers plenty of room in the toe box for those of you with bigger feet. The collar lining started wearing off considerably after about 200 miles, but I didn't see any noticeable change in comfort (no rubbing/blisters either). This seems to be an issue with other On models as well from what I've read, and might be something for the designers to improve in the next iteration. Longevity wise, I was disappointed that shoe started feeling off after 350 miles; having coughed up $150 for the pair, I'd have liked to put on at least 450 miles on them. Not too upset about this, because their sleek look allows me to wear them as my everyday shoes. Oh and one last thing – I wouldn't recommend these shoes on gravel trails (e.g. Waterfall Glen, IPP) for obvious reasons. NOTES/CAVEATS: (1) Wrote this review after putting about 350 miles on the shoes. (2) My feet tend to run ever so slightly wide, so roomy uppers are important. (3) I use orthotic inserts when I can to correct slight overpronation. (4) Test drove its cousin, On Cloudflow, for 6 miles at FF Oak Park, and I much preferred the Cloudswift (Cloudflow cushioning felt harder).
Love my on clouds. Comfortable. Light.
Great experience fast easy and they are the most comfortable shoes.
Super fast shipping of the exact shoe I needed!!
Thanks
Super light, soft and comfortable shoes. A bit pricey at $150 but so are all the rest that compare to these.
.
My husband bought a pair of these in January 2020 and there's already a whole in one of the shoes.
I am a woman but i ordered the men's cause i liked this color. I ordered a size in a half smaller than i wear in woman's the are a little bit wide but i just tie them tighter. they are very comfortable.
