Can’t miss with this shoe
Running shoe for XC training for my HS student. Classic, cushioned, not too heavy. Great for road, trail, track. Holds up even on grass. He’s a teen and he likes it— that’s something!
Best shoe ever
Absolutely love the Ghost 13. Fell in love with ghost line starting with the 9s. Something went wrong in between 9 and 13. The versions in between lost their cushion in the front portion near big toe. 13 set it right and I now have 3 pairs.
I’ve worn Nike for years and I finally came to fleet feet to get my feet scanned and get the right fitting shoes. Turns out my shoes have been too narrow my entire life. This has completely changed everything. This shoe is comfortable and also wide enough for your feet to breath
My third pair
I love these brooks shoes. Good comfort, stability, and durability. I also like that the mesh on the upper provides a bit of waterproof protection. My previous shoes would leave my feet wet at the slightest drizzle and these offer a bit of protection
Brooks Ghost 13
I am not a runner, but I walk. I had a pair of Brooks Ghost 12s that I really liked. When I recently looked to replace them, they weren't available, replaced by the Ghost 13. I was leery whether the fit would be as good, the same. It was. I like them just as much as the 12s.
Lasted less than 3 months
The Brooks Ghost 12 was just perfect - I've owned several pairs of them. The successor model Ghost 13 has a different material at the back of the heel on the inside that seems to be very fragile. It wore away in less than 3 months. Thinking it was a fluke I bought a replacement pair, and after a month they're already showing wear in the same spot.
light hiking, walking, aggressive tread. fabric is easy to stain. recommend scotch guard before wearing.
Well-cushioned Wide Neutral Shoe
Forty miles on this shoe, including 3 ten-mile runs. Able to maintain good pace on ten-mile runs despite deep cushioning. I anticipate it will work as well on twenty-mile runs. Drawback: Some rubber pilling has appeared on the inside heel counter already; however, I expect it will last out the 500 mile life of the shoe. Neutral runner, wide foot, high arches. Average 1,600 mi. per year..
After trying many other brands, I am sticking with Brooks. I hardly wear dress shoes anymore. Fleet Feet is excellent overall. It’s my go to place for shoes. Staff has been great
I love the look great and they provide some good cushioning, but they are not good for lounging around the house in. They do hurt my feet after an hour and have to take them off. I did go on one run with them and they felt nice, but not my favorite shoe that I've tried. For $140 I was expecting more comfort in this shoe, I thought it might be a break in period but after talking to the sales rep there should be none.
