Saucony engineered the Mad River TR 2 to give you confident traction on the trail. To do that, designers molded sticky PWRTRAC rubber into multidirectional lugs that dig into the dirt and add traction on unpredictable terrain.

A new PWRRUN midsole adds high-performance cushioning for a soft feel and springy response, while an engineered mesh upper boosts breathability and drains water quickly.

But the Mad River TR 2 also comes with options for upgrades. Saucony mapped the outsole to add drainage holes or extra winter studs, and it’s compatible with a gaiter.
