Saucony Guide 17 Review
With brand new stability technology from Saucony, can the 17th iteration of the Saucony Guide live up to its name?
Comfortable and stable, you will be ready to run in the Saucony Guide 17.
With a brand new way to provide stability, the Guide provides plenty of comfort for all of your walks, runs and gallivants. It has a broader base, deeper sidewalls and Center Path Technology to keep you running smoothly and help support those with flexible arches or who overpronate. Our reviewers felt that this new technology really helped to guide their feet and keep their momentum rolling forward, as opposed to inward, in our Saucony Guide 17 review.
The comfort extends from the plush, luxurious upper to the added PWRRUN cushioning underfoot, making every experience a joy in the Saucony Guide 17.

Saucony completely rehauled the Guide 17. They updated their stability mechanism by changing the platform to make the base wider and extend the sidewalls higher, while an asymmetric profile helps guide your stride. They also lowered the heel-to-toe drop from 8 mm to 6 mm to give you smoother transitions and more stability.
The changes didn’t just stop with the new stability design, Saucony added more PWRRUN cushioning underfoot to make it softer and more cushioned. Plus, a new upper construction provides 360 degrees of comfort.

The new Saucony Guide 17 offers excellent stability and cushioning - features that are hard to find in one shoe but Saucony has achieved this. I have high floating arches in both feet and bursitis in one knee. This shoe is the perfect shoe for me!
