From high-tempo training to race day, the women's Saucony Endorphin Speed excels.
Saucony extracts max performance from the Endorphin Speed with a host of new technologies, beginning with the midsole. A brand new PWRRUN PB foam makes the most of cushioning and energy return for a bouncy ride.
Sandwiched into the foam is a plastic plate. Like running shoes with carbon fiber plates, the composite plate helps transfer power from landing to takeoff to reduce fatigue. The plastic plate is more flexible than the carbon-fiber version found in the Saucony Endorphin Pro, though, so the Speed is more approachable for training.
The foam and plate join forces with the shape of the shoe to create what Saucony calls its Speedroll technology. The geometry gives the women's Endorphin Speed a lively rolling feel underfoot for a propulsive ride.
Designers covered the Speed in a thin, lightweight mesh upper and sewed in a minimal tongue. The attention paid to materials keeps the shoe’s weight down and to keep your pace up.

This is a truly amazing shoe. I've read so much about it online, but was skeptical of the hype. I'm here to say, it's true! These shoes really will cut seconds off of your time. They make running fun and effortless. They fit well (the only shoe I own that I don't need to lace a heel lock) and the upper is nice and breathable. This is easily my new favorite shoe for both short and long runs!
Overall, good fit, and feels light and carefree. I did develop slight blister near Achilles on one side, but still investigating shoes vs. socks. Overall, love the "push" I feel when stepping off, and of course, love the colors!
This is my first pair of this Saucony Endorphin Speed and I am very happy with it. The cushion is great. Laces are good they keep tight and I love the design and colors. The only negative thing is that the sizing is not totally accurate and it runs small.
I bought these to race a half marathon in and they were great! I could really feel the roll speed technology, I felt I could push off/keep up my higher cadence in these. Now they are my trainers for easy/tempo runs for a 5K program.
I've run in Saucony shows for some time, but held off trying these because I prefer a lower drop shoe. That said, I put these shoes on for a run and haven't taken them off since. The cushioning is great, but the most surprising thing is that I have seen a consistent increase in my cadence in the shoes - about a 2-3% increase. I now have about 120 miles on my first pair and my cadence has been consistently higher in these shoes. I love them!
