The Pegasus Trail 4 GTX has Nike’s lightweight and durable React foam that gives you a supportive and springy ride no matter the surface. A new traction pattern provides grip when you need it, but also allows for a smooth ride on the road. The rubber outsole wraps up into the midsole to prevent tears and increase durability.

The Nike Pegasus Trail 4 GTX differs from the Nike Pegasus Trail 4 with its GORE-TEX upper, higher collar and all-new gaiter to keep your feet warm and dry when running through mud, rain and snow.

The biggest change in the Nike React Pegasus Trail 4 is the new outsole layout that gives you better traction for the trails, while still being comfortable for running on the roads. A new guidance line allows for more flexibility while running over roots and rocks. Plus, the outsole wraps up into the midsole for increased durability.

Nike also redesigned the React midsole to give it more comfort underfoot. Designers then added Flywires to the Pegasus Trail 4 to give it a better lockdown and re-engineered the upper to make it more breathable.
