The SuperComp Trainer v3 brings carbon-plated energy to your training miles..
Get fired up by the New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer v3’s combination of softness and speed.
This carbon-plated shoe gives you plenty of cushion, forward propulsion and bounce to rack up the miles and keep you moving forward.
During our New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer v3 review, run tester Travis said, “The FuelCell cushioning is very bouncy and fun to run in, and the rocker geometry keeps my momentum moving forward. The carbon-fiber plate gives the midsole some much-needed rigidity that keeps the bouncy cushioning more responsive.”

This is a very biased review of this shoe. I used to be a die hard Hoka Clifton fan (if that's you and you're reading this keep going), assuming that was the springiest shoe out there. But then I tried the Supercomp and everything changed! This shoe is comfortable, light, and gives you a bounce. It helps relieve a lot of the impact when running because of the carbon plate, and you feel like your flying. I've been wearing the renditions of it for years now and the shoes always last a LONG time (which is different than a lot of carbon plated "special" foam shoes, iykyk because they break down after like 200 miles). My last pair I stretched over about a year and a half and they were just starting to not feel great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I do not recommend them if you have any hip flexor or SI Joint issues, however, because you will lose some stability. So be careful, but other than that. 10/10
Love these shoes for short to intermediate distance. Trained in them for a half marathon last year, they were excellent for the race, and now I’m on my third pair because they’ve been so wonderful. Cushioned enough for comfort without feeling overly foam-y/pillowy under my feet
I keep buying this shoes over and over again. A lot of comfort and balance!
Love these. They are great for all kinds of training, especially marathon but have not disappointed at all with 5 and 10k training. Do not take off road. They wear quickly if you do.
I can definitely see a difference in my running with these shoes. I use them primarily for tempo runs and I'm able to keep up to my target pace during my sessions with this shoe (sometimes even faster than my target pace!). Running w a plate does take some getting used to but by the second session, the shoes felt good. A great shoe to add to my rotation!
