Whether you're chasing a marathon PR or pushing to lead the front of the pack, this incredibly lightweight racer delivers the perfect blend of energy return and propulsion when it matters most. The SC Elite v5 is remarkably light without sacrificing an ounce of performance, helping you feel fast and confident from start to finish.
Details:
- Upper: The engineered upper helps you dial in your perfect fit so you can focus on your race, not your shoes. With a thoughtfully designed tongue and collar, the transition from your training shoes to these racers feels natural and comfortable.
- Midsole: Years of research have gone into perfecting the 100% PEBA FuelCell foam midsole that delivers exceptional energy return with every stride. Paired with a stiffer forefoot carbon fiber plate, this combination creates that propulsive feeling that helps maintain your pace when fatigue starts creeping in.
- Outsole: The new lightweight outsole material provides excellent grip on all kinds of surfaces, giving you the confidence to push the pace regardless of conditions. It's designed specifically to be grippier than previous versions, so you can focus on your race strategy with confident footing.

Light and fast
Great shoe for race day—light, bouncy, and fast. I'm really happy with the new version. I will wear them next week to run the NYC Marathon.
Speedy Enough
First time trialing the NB carbon plated shoe. Is speedy enough for my pace. Color is good. My only real complaint is the lack of a heel loop to help put the shoe on. It's a little tight and with such lightweight mesh, it's hard to get your foot inside without having to dig out the back or the lacing part of the shoe.
