The Hierro v7 takes New Balance’s signature smooth Fresh Foam cushioning and packages it in a durable and rugged trail running shoe. The cloud-like cushion and high stack height of the Hierro v7 let you take on more miles more comfortably off-road.

Clamber over slick rocks, through mud, and down steep descents with confidence thanks to a tacky Vibram® Megagrip rubber outsole and deep lugs.

To keep your feet comfortable over long miles, New Balance uses a breathable, lightweight mesh upper and no-sew construction to prevent any blisters. Plus, a built-in toe cap keeps unexpected roots and rocks from stubbing your toes.

What’s New

New Balance worked to reduce the weight of the upper, midsole and outsole in the Hierro v7 to give you max cushioning in a lighter package. They removed 20% of the lugs on the outsole compared to the previous version without sacrificing traction and increased the overall lug depth from 3.5mm to 4.5mm for a grippy and confident run.
