Features

[Looking for the latest version? The women's New Balance Fresh Foam 1080 v12 is now available.]

The women's New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v11 delivers premium cushion and top-notch performance to enhance your training.

New Balance loaded the new 1080v11 with a full-length Fresh Foam midsole. The choice cushion feels soft and bouncy under your feet, and it provides the smoothest ride at any distance or pace.

Designers knit a dynamic upper for zones of stretch and structure. The stretchiness in the toe box accommodates different foot shapes, while the structured midsole ensures a locked-in fit.

In the New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v11 review, Fleet Feet runners say the Ultra Heel design feels like it molds around your foot for a good fit, and the soft cushioning remains lightweight for an easy ride.

What’s New

New Balance updated the knit upper with a little more structure to give your foot some extra support around the edges of the footbed. But the buttery ride didn’t change thanks to the full-length Fresh Foam midsole.

What It’s Best For

The 1080v11 is ideal for any type of training. From easy miles to hard workouts, the 1080 is comfortable and versatile.

What We Love

The Fresh Foam midsole shines again in the 1080v11. The cushioning is really light and super bouncy, giving you a ride that works for any distance.

New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v11 Review:

The Fresh Foam midsole in the New Balance 1080v11

The 1080 legacy continues with New Balance's updated iteration of a cushiony classic. An updated upper for added support meshes (pun intended) with the soft and supportive Fresh Foam midsole.

Fleet Feet reviewers took to the streets to put the 1080v11 to work. Here's what they thought.

Happy Feet from Fleet Feet

I originally purchased Fresh Foam X 1080 Unlaced from a local store. My right foot has had multiple issues and they helped me find a good pair. Once I go the model, I figured I would get another pair to change off, and a pair with laces. So, I found these, at a lower price then the current version. They are awesome too. I do prefer the unlaced version, but these are great for when you need a tie up, foot swollen, etc. Sometimes, the prior versions are not as good, but these 2 versions I have feel identical as far as the soles, insoles, etc. Im sure there is a difference, but I cant tell. These NB are the best shoes I ever had.

Love the high cushion!

I usually run in Hoka Cliftons, but last time I was fitted at Fleet Feet I ended up in the mid-cushion version of this shoe (NB FF 880) and LOVED it. So when it was time to replace those, I tried on the high cushion version (these) and really liked them! They’re supportive, cushy, and hold on in the right places. The color is brighter than what I usually wear but they’re FUN and reflective. Highly recommend!

Hoka bondi 7–Disappointing shoe

I want to splurge and buy a good pair of shoes for the summer. I love the cushion of the hookah, but the soles are very disappointing. I have worn these shoes for 83 miles and the colored portion of the sole is falling off. I have used less expensive shoes that have easily lasted 300 miles.
