- Upper: A one-piece circular knit creates a breathable, seamless feel around your foot. Stretch laces let you adjust the fit exactly how you like it, while the cushioned tongue and heel tab bring extra comfort (thanks to weight savings from the lighter midsole). Reflective hits keep you seen during early morning or late evening runs.
- Midsole: New Balance's latest Infinion supercritical foam is engineered to maintain the same feel throughout your entire run. Testing shows it outperforms Fresh Foam X in cushioning, responsiveness and energy return, all while coming in lighter than before. The 6 mm drop keeps transitions feeling natural.

Even though I ordered wide/extra wide (which normally fits), they were too tight. I am so disappointed. It seems that a lot of your New Balance shoes are being made more narrow now. I have worn your brand for years. Now I have to start looking at other brands.

Not Loving the New Version of Model 1080
I LOVED my first pair of New Balance 1080’s, not so much the new version. It is much narrower, especially in the front - inside and out. Not nearly as stable or comfortable.
