Best Shoe I've Ever Had

I have been a Hoka girl for several years because of the cushion. This shoe is much more cushioned and light. I also have a slightly narrow foot and this shoe hugs my foot like a glove. I just bought these in the store, ran 10 miles in them straight out of the box, then ordered a second pair online when I got home from my run! I highly recommend!

Conflicted feelings about Women's NB Fresh Foam 1080 v10

I had an earlier version of these shoes several years ago which I got on sale and found surprisingly beloved, so I wanted to love this version. I was careful to err on the side of a larger size, as my feet tend to swell on long runs, and maybe that's the problem, but the heel shape, which looks like it would mold to the wearer's foot, is doing the opposite for me. The shoes were fine the first couple times I wore them. By about the third wear, I was noticing slippage in the heel. On a long run over the weekend, it felt like there was a sharp metal object rubbing against the inside of my left heel -- there wasn't, it's just the way the overlay of fabric lined up. I was left with a scratch and small bruise from this rubbing. Tried the shoes again yesterday on a shorter run, and while not as significant, the same sensation started towards the end of the run. The positives in the review are for FleetFeet -- super-fast delivery as always!

Best Shoes Ever
