Mizuno designers wrapped the reshaped Wave Plate in a bed of Mizuno Enerzy midsole foam. Enerzy foam offers next-level cushioning and energy return, while the Wave Plate delivers a stabilized feel with each step. Plus, the Wave Plate is now constructed with sustainable materials.
The support continues through the outsole with the classic Flex Groove design that promotes flexibility in the forefoot for a more secure toe off. X10 rubber on the outsole offers the durability you need to run in your Wave Rider 25 over long miles of daily training and prevents uneven wearing.

I have them in every color and only show I wear
Crowded toe box
I’ve been a loyal mizuno wave rider client for years, but for some reason this pair/model isn’t as comfortable. I find the toe box crowding and the shoe less comfortable overall. I should probably consider returning!
I'VE WORN MIZUNO WAVE RIDERS FOR AT LEAST 15 YEARS
I love these shoes. As I said in the title to this review, I have worn the Mizuno Wave Riders for at least 15 years. I have planters and a heal spur. This is the only shoe I can wear. I have and will continue to highly recommend this shoe.

I am using my new Mizuno Wave Riders as a walking shoe. I have already put 100 miles on them, and must say these are the most comfortable walking shoe I have worn.
Nice Running Shoe
Very comfortable running shoe. I have a narrow foot, size 8 shoe and bought a size 8.5 - they are comfortable! I have clocked around 50 miles so far on them and feel good about the purchase.
