The women's Mizuno Wave Horizon 4 is the latest pair of Mizuno running shoes to don the new Foam Wave for stability and softness.
Instead of using the plastic Wave Plate popular in other models, engineers took advantage of wave shapes to create stability. Rounded waves on the lateral side (or outside) part of the shoe lend softness, while rectangular waves on the medial side (or instep) add stability.
Making the women's Horizon 4 even more engaging, though, is the addition of XPOP foam. The bouncy new foam sits in the middle of the midsole and delivers a floating feeling.
In the Mizuno Wave Horizon 4 review, Fleet Feet testers love how cushioned the shoes feel while keeping the stability that devoted fans crave.

Always love the Horizons! The 4s feel a slight bit shorter than the 3s but not enough for me to go up in a size. If you're a runner, you may want to try on your regular size and one size up.
Great product and employees!
Always pleased with the fast. friendly, and reliable service of this wonderful store.
bought Brooks Dyads in the past for plantar fasciitis but these are no longer as comfortable as in the past; switched to Mizuno wave horizon 4 & I'm in love; worth every penny; planning to purchase another pair before a redesign takes place
Excellent shoe...bought two pairs. Easy on line process.
