- Upper: A supple, brindle patterned IdealKnit mesh upper and flared heel counter gives you a secure lock-down and instant step-in comfort. It has an accommodating shape and lightweight design, thanks in part to millions of fit id® scans from Fleet Feet.
- Midsole: Karhu's signature Fulcrum technology uses a stabilizing midsole geometry that leverages your body's natural motion to propel you forward. It is then wrapped in a plush bed of AeroFoam cushioning for an effortless flow from landing to toe-off.
- Outsole: To improve stability, traction and durability, the outsole has more rubber coverage and a newly added deflection channel.

The Ikoni 3.0 received a full revamp with an all-new upper, outsole and cushier midsole than its predecessor. Designers raised the stack height by 4 mm, softened the midsole and added more rubber coverage on the outsole along with a newly added deflection channel.

Great Shoes. Like my 2.0 but better
I loved my older version of these shoes, but all good things (in shoes anyway) don't last too long. These are either better, meaning more comfortable, or just being new gives them more support. Very happy.

Running Shoe Karhu 3.0
I had never heard of this running shoe until I visited Fleet Feet in the Woodlands. I am usually buying Hoka but I was pleasantly surprised at this shoe! The comfort level exceeded my expectations and I bought a pair. A week later I bought another pair (on sale). I hope they continue to make this specific shoe, don't change a thing. Now I can switch off Hoka and Karhu.

No longer designed with firm arch support
I previously loved these shoes for the firm arch support (fulcrum design) as I have severe over pronation. The updated design no longer seems to provide the same support and permits over pronation again.

Karhu Ikoni 3.0
I have tempermental 74 year old feet, and walking is really important to me. I love these! I also like the dark color I selected; neon or white or pastel colored shoes don't appeal to me. A local Fleet Feet employee initially fit me in them, and now I'm in my second pair.

Great fitting shoe
I was looking for a shoe with metatarsal support and generous toe box. I didn’t recognize the brand but took a chance. I will never go back to another brand now. This shoe is so well made compared to the standard brands and the fit is amazing. It has great cushioning without looking like a clown shoe( no offense to clowns intended).

A well made shoe, finally.
I needed a shoe for lengthy walks with arch/metatarsal support and a wide toe box. I took a chance with this brand and am so glad I did. I’ve found that the quality of reliable brands over the years have tended to decline(just my opinion). This shoe is well made and feels great. Thanks, Karhu
