Women's HOKA Mach 5
This is a great performance running shoe that is durable enough for daily training but is light and snappy for picking up the tempo or even racing.
Run at jetsetting paces in the HOKA Mach 5.
Get ready to perform—the HOKA Mach 5 offers a snappy and lively ride with its new PROFLY+ midsole that offers a lightweight and responsive feel directly underfoot and rubberized EVA below for traction. The PROFLY+ foam provides for a softer and bouncier ride than ever before.
The upper is a stripped-down, breathable single-layer creel jacquard engineered mesh that gives you a great lockdown around the midfoot and extra room in the forefoot. The flared heel holds the foot in while you pound the pavement. Plus, the gusseted tongue lays flat and is minimal with strategic cushioned pads.
Combining the best parts of the Mach Supersonic and Mach 4, the HOKA Mach 5’s uptempo ride will keep your legs feeling fresh and put a pep in your step.

Super comfortable and very cute!
I’ve heard raving reviews about the HOKA and I have been so excited to put them to the test. And I do love them! They have ultimate cushion and spring when I am running out around our country roads. But I have one major hang up that may cause me to never buy these shoes again- the soles of the shoes are so soft that they are deteriorating and I’ve only done 9 runs in them. For reference, I do run on pavement and I am not an overweight person. But I was very surprised that the bottoms had already started breaking down whereas my Brooks have to be retired before the soles get even close to wear and tear. I’m training for a marathon and I just don’t feel like I can trust these shoes to take me very far if I’m going to have to replace them much sooner due to this issue. Maybe I’m just a Brooks gal… and while these are great for short distances (5ks) they are definitely not Brooks!
I made the switch to Hoka’s two years ago and my feet have been so happy. I went to the Bondi 7 but did not like the Bondi 8. After trying the Mach 5’s, I bought two pairs to put into my rotation and plan on phasing out everything but the Mach 5. They have the cushion I want and are so lightweight; love them!
I wanted to love this shoe. It’s lighter and zippier than Clifton but it’s a smidge too narrow. Also had to size 1/2 size down. Neither were deal breakers but complete lack of grip on pavement if wet or cold (frost) was nerve wracking. There is no rubber on outsole, just the foam. Weather where I live is too unpredictable to wear this shoe for racing which was my intention
This is my 3 pair. They are so confi. I am staying the whole day my back pain is gone with this shoes.
