Not only is the Canopy Jacket weather resistant—thanks to Breathable DriLayer ® Seal fabric that lets the heat out without letting the wind or rain in—but it is also packable. This jacket stuffs into a built-in backpack that is integrated into the back of the jacket, so you can bring it with you when there is a chance of storms.
Brooks thought of all of the details when designing the Canopy Jacket: They added elastic at the wrists to keep the elements out and made the hood not only stowable, but also gave it cinch adjustability to ensure it stays put. Plus, there are zip-secure pockets and a draft flap snap that keeps the jacket in place while you run if you need to unzip for extra ventilation.

New favorite
Love it but does run small. The cayenne color is very visible. I run warm, so this is the perfect weight for me, even in the winter (if temp is 20+ degrees). Blocks wind and hood snugly covers head and ears. Zipper pockets are great and hood can be tucked away with a snap. I usually wear a medium and get enough extra size-wise to have sleeves cover my hands a bit. However the sleeves and torso length on this are shorter than typical, so does not cover my hands or bum.

Warmth for Autumn Running
I love the midnight color of my new Brooks jacket. It was warm enough for a run on a chilly fall day (temperatures in the40s).
