Features

The Ghost 15’s blend of comfort, style and functionality help it stand out as one of the best running shoes you’ll find.

Designed for runners, walkers and comfort seekers looking for a shoe that keeps up with their active lifestyle, the Brooks Ghost is more than just a running shoe—it's an extension of your body. Whether you're powering through a half marathon, running your first 5k or enjoying a walk around the city, these shoes adapt seamlessly to keep you comfortable with every step.

The Ghost 15’s midsole gives you the perfect balance between cushioning and responsiveness. Its DNA LOFT v2 cushioning delivers a buttery smooth heel-to-toe transition, while keeping your feet cradled with just the right amount of support.

You’ll experience the Ghost 15's magic from the first time you lace them up. The comfortable fit is perfect for all-day wear, whether you're standing, walking or getting a workout in. The engineered air mesh upper feels like your favorite slipper and the 3D fit print provides structure to prevent any distractions so you can focus on your run.

It's common to wonder if a new running shoe can truly make a difference. But have no fear. Universally loved by our testers in our Brooks Ghost 15 review, take it from one reviewer who said "The shoe feels wonderfully responsive in the forefoot while retaining an extra softness in the heel, making it very adaptable to different running styles and different types of workouts."

My favorite most-weather most-terrain shoe

Emily I 9 months ago Verified Purchase

The Brooks Ghost has been my go to most-terrain trail and pavement running shoe for five years. For the shape of my foot which I think is pretty average it has arch support a roomy toe box and plenty of cushion. When the tread loses a little of its traction after about 200 or 230 miles I switch to casual use like slow jogs in good conditions and I get a new pair for races and trail running. In conditions like more than an inch of snow or crusty ice or gritty mud I can put yak tracks on the bottom and feel comfortable but if it is worse than that and I don't want to get wet cold feet I switch to my Brooks Cascadias instead. I live in Denver and I run in basically any weather. I run about 15 miles a week right now and walk an additional 20 to 30 with the dog.
