Brooks Catamount

Features

[Featured in our Best Trail Running Shoes Guide]

The women's Brooks Catamount delivers faster miles on trail.

Brooks designed the Catamount with an all-new DNA Flash midsole. The nitrogen-infused foam is super light and extremely bouncy, giving you a snappy step when you go off-road.

To give the Catamount traction, Brooks covered the outsole in a grippy rubber outsole. The TrailTack outsole is studded with rubber lugs for outstanding traction on uphills and downhills, no matter the weather.

Sandwiched into the midsole is a rock plate called the Ballistic Rock Shield. The protective plate keeps your feet from feeling jagged rocks and roots but remains flexible for an easy ride.

Topped with a lightweight mesh that drains water easily, the women's Brooks Catamount is a premier trail running and trail racing shoe that will take you as far as you want to go.

Amazing shoes!

I purchased these shoes for a Europe trip and they did not disappoint. Super comfortable when doing a LOT of walking on different terrain.

Awesome for snow and ice!

I purchased these trail runners for more traction on snow and ice and they work wonderfully. I grew up buying the brooks ghost so I was happy to find that brooks also made a great pair of trail runners. They’re pretty comfortable and as an added bonus, the rock protection layer works well at keeping the cold and water out as well. Can’t attest to how they do for actual trial running, but if you’re in a snowy climate, definitely buy a pair of these!
