- Upper: A jacquard mesh upper wraps your foot in slipper-like comfort while providing improved breathability and stretch. A padded heel collar holds your feet securely in place and prevents unwanted rubbing.
- Midsole: New FF BLAST MAX foam delivers an enhanced bounce and responsiveness while maintaining the shoe's signature lightweight feel.
- Outsole: The outsole retains its distinctive trampoline-inspired geometry that's made the Novablast series a favorite for many runners. A soft AHAR® LO outsole is durable and improves traction on a variety of surfaces.

First Time Asics
I have been running in the Saucony Triumph on all my easy runs for years now. I had been interested in trying Asics and decided to give them a shot when the Novablast was on sale. These are almost identical to the Triumph! Very springy and cushioned but light. Loved them from the first run and hope they last as long as Saucony shoes.
