These are great for me for everyday and long runs. Just enough stability without being super heavy.
Good shoe, just wish it had more arch support.
Love them. Thanks to Fleet Feet I’ve learned that foot sizes change through the years, and with required orthotics, these have become my most comfortable pair!
Excellent running shoes!
The forefoot is much more narrow than the gt 2000 12. I have a big toe deformity so after a while the right foot hurts. I will have to see if I can get it stretched so I can enjoy the shoe.
I think the Asics GT2000 is a well constructed shoe aimed at the pronator. For me, it did not work well because the built up heel just creates problems with my back. For fairness, I cannot wear any of the new shoes with the built up heel. I see many women in my exercise classes wearing the basic GT2000 and they love it. Sadly, I cannot.
The left shoe fits well, however, the right shoe slides on my foot and that makes it uncomfortable when I go on my long walks I definitely liked my new balance 860 better
I have returned to the best fitting shoe for me and that is Asics. Asics never seems to let me down, whereas when I try other brands, I usually end up with some sort of injury sooner or later. Asics must have been made for me.
I'm very impressed with these shoes. I have overpronation and tendonitis in my ankle. Walking has been a new experience. My feet are much more stable in these shoes. Also, no longer have pain in my calf after walking. I highly recommend them.
