Features
Step into luxury with the cushioned and supportive ASICS GEL-KAYANO® 29.
The GEL-KAYANO® has been around for decades and is now lighter, more cushioned and more stable than ever before. ASICS added their FF BLAST™ PLUS foam that gives you more bounce with each step. This newest version still features ASICS’ signature GEL technology that absorbs impact and feels amazing underfoot.
Providing support and stability for people who overpronate or have flexible arches, the GEL-KAYANO® 29 features a LITETRUSS™ placed on the midsole’s inside angle that is designed to help keep your foot from rolling too far inward during your stride. The updated shoe also features a low-profile external heel counter that cradles your foot to keep it secure and provide rearfoot support.
The soft and supportive recycled stretch knit upper gives the Kayano a sleek profile and superior breathability and comfort. Our testers loved how the new upper because of its comfort and ability to fit a variety of footshapes in our ASICS GEL-KAYANO 29 review.
Whether you are training for a marathon or wearing them to walk the dog, the ASICS GEL-KAYANO® 29 will bring you premium stability and a plush experience making it one of the best stability shoes available.

Great comfortable shoes
The sneakers are very comfortable. Love Love the sneakers.
Great shoe with max cushioning. Very comfortable
The overall show is great! Takes a little bit to break them in and the sizes do run small so need to size up
I switched to the 29s from the 28s. Broke them in well but I feel like I'm having issues that I just didn't have in the 28s. Ran with the same brand/style of inserts in each. I get more foot pain and I've even ended up with a few blisters from the 29s. If I run a Spring marathon I'll probably try to find something different. I think I just prefer the feel of the 28s midsole as compared to the 29s.
