Slippery
Kept foot stable but on wet or painted areas was very slippery—for the price I expected better traction
Excellent Running Shoe
After leaving ASICS for a while and trying other brands, I ended up going back and buying the Gel-Kayano 28 after reading so many amazing reviews. I wasn't disappointed! These shoes are so comfortable and have great stability. Other brands have such wide toe boxes and don't fit my narrow feet that snuggly. These shoes fit perfectly and provide such a cushioned run....no special inserts required like I would buy for other brands. I am definitely buying more pairs going forward. I just wish they would make better color combos for women.
Best Edition to Date
I have worn this shoe for the last 8 years. Every year Asics makes minor tweaks. This year was the best tweak to date. I wore these shoes straight out of the box while touring Washington DC, we walked 75k steps in 2.5 days. My feet never hurt or got tired the entire time.
