Signature GEL technology in the heel and forefoot of the Kayano 28 offers shock absorption and cushioning over landings and toe offs.
The GEL-Kayano 28 is an excellent stability shoe for those with low arches, overpronators, or runners who favor a more stabilized feeling on the go. ASICS DYNAMIC DUOMAX technology works with the midsole foam to reduce overpronation and prevent uneven wearing on the outsole.
Plus, 3D Space Construction in the forefoot offers gender-specific compression and added stability throughout the footbed of the shoe.

Great Feel While It Lasted
Bought this shoe in April. I suffer from foot pain when doing exercises requiring jumping/lunges/etc. and this definitely helped improve the pain a little. However it gets 3 stars from me as I bought these in April and using them only indoors for an hour workout class 3-4x weekly the bottom has broken after almost exactly 6 months. I feel it should last at least a year? Hoping mine was just a malfunction. Not sure if I should risk it reordering this brand again or not.

Really comfy
I have tried several different models of ASICS and so far this is my favorite. I have very flat feet and plantar fasciitis so i did add an insole from fleetfeet. I am on my feet all day at work and usually rotate the shoes i wear but these feel so good i have been wearing them almost every day and my legs havenโt been as tired at the end of my shift.

Supportive gel comfort that is stylish
I mainly use for morning walks but do some short jogging intervals. Iโve always needed supportive sneakers because of my pronation. After surgery on my right ankle I wasnโt comfortable in any shoes. These gel kayanos provide a cushion that hugs my ankle just right. I also donโt have any pain with heel contact in that right foot like I do in casual shoes. This is now my 5th pair! I love them so much that I rotate through a pair to walk a pair to wear at work on my feet all day (teacher). I get compliments regularly on how cute they look. Cannot recommend them enough.

The best
This is my second pair of these and I wonโt wear anything else. I had tried to order them through Amazon and my package was lost. Ordering thru fleet feet instead was much better. It was prompt and exactly wat I wanted. Iโll definitely order thru the app again.
