The long-running Kayano 27 builds on its predecessors with a new engineered mesh upper and more flexible midsole. But its comfortable ride and consistent soul haven’t changed.
ASICS made the Kayano 27 more flexible by adding additional flex grooves to the heel and tweaking the Trusstic system. AISCS tuned the Trusstic system for different characteristics in the men’s and women’s models of the shoe: The men’s version delivers added arch support on the medial side, and the women’s version offers more support for forward motion.
Designers maintained the GEL cushioning unit in the heel for softer landings, while the Dynamic Duomax technology helps create a more stable ride for overpronators.

Very comfortable, stylish, and durable. I wear these daily. I normally walk between 9 - 11 miles a day.
These wonderful shoes have helped me immensely on my journey to better health. They fit right out of the box! They are light weight and provide the stability I need. I have used them both indoors and outdoors. Highly recommend!
I appreciate the solid support for my feet in this shoe. I went up a 1/2 size bigger due to a wide foot and happy I did.
I had to return the shoes I had because of a defect in the sole of the left shoe, but aside from that, they were super comfortable and looked great, too. I plan to get another pair when my size becomes available again.
