Shows promise- but one glaring weakness
Bought the Adidas Supernova Rise 3 for my daughter. Was looking for a solid workhorse daily trainer. The one most important thing a daily trainer should be is durable. Everything else checked the box. Great fit, great cushion. Just the right cushion. Not too firm or too soft. Unfortunately, the outsole material Adidas chose to use for the Rise 3 in the heel area is really bad. After only about 15 miles, the outsole was worn through to the dreamstrike midsole foam. Totally unacceptable. Adidas could fix this issue with one major improvement. They need to use their continental rubber in the lateral heel area. Problem solved. Hopefully they address this issue with the Rise 4. It could easily be a 5 star shoe.
