The HOKA ONE ONE Speedgoat 4 will take you wherever you want to go.
HOKA delivered the new ‘Goat with a more accommodating toe box than the previous version and a lighter, more responsive midsole. But the soul is all Speedgoat.
A host of 5 mm lugs will help you keep your footing on the trail, and Vibram MegaGrip rubber gives the shoe traction on slippery rocks and roots. Like all HOKA running shoes, the Speedgoat 4 has a beefy midsole that protects your feet from rugged trails.
Fleet Feet testers laced up the shoe for the HOKA Speedgoat 4 review, and they praised the improved fit and burly upper.
With a big stack height and comfortable fit, the HOKA ONE ONE Speedgoat 4 is ready for anything.

Lightest Hoka I’ve ever worn.... more cushion than you would expect Great for shorter runs and pickup training.....
I purchased these shoes for some moderate level hiking (I cannot run right now due to pregnancy complications and back pain) and they were fantastic! I had no back pain during the hike or the day after. I was able to traverse mud, hills, streams, and rocks with ease. I do agree that the tongue can be irritating if you wear no show socks but I’d either get different socks or slightly trim the tongue if you prefer. These shoes provided the cushioning, support and traction I needed and allowed me to get back out in nature without pain (I also wore my SI belt during the hike), which has not happened since being pregnant. I did size down a half size and they fit perfectly. Absolutely 5 stars for me. As an aside, Angela at the Pepper Pike Fleet Feet store is awesome and helped me find just the right shoe without spending time online just picking what I thought would work. Thank you!
The Speedgoat 3's are fantastic, but the 4's are even better! There's a bit more room in the toe box, and the ride seems just a bit smoother. I use these on trail and road as they feel so good running.
I bought these for my wife. She loves running in them. They are true to size, and add cushion and stability to her stride.
I had the Stinson last year but Speedgoat is a better fit for me. Great fit, more narrow than the Stinson. Good stability. I liked them so much I bought a second pair.
