The Dragonfly XC was designed to go off-road and is based on Nike’s fastest distance track spike. Designers used a partial Vaporweave upper that makes the shoe ultra-lightweight even when it’s wet, while the soft, engineered mesh toe box keeps your toes and forefoot comfortably secure. Plus, the XC spike’s wider base and an added arch band create support and stability in muddy conditions or on uneven terrain.

Fits like a glove
Ran a meet in very slippery conditions with thick mud but these spikes saved the day. I saw other runners slipping but wearing the Dragonfly’s I never did. Not even once.

Excellent XC spike for any runner
My son has a narrow foot, which means he can wear Nike products (they run narrow). He is a repeat customer with the ZoomX Dragonfly for both XC and track.

Light weight and comfortable

Not as good as the Track ZoomX Dragonfly
My sons used the track version of the ZoomX Dragonfly and loved them. I bought them each a pair of the XC Dragonflys and their reaction has been mixed. Both had bad blisters on their heels due to the lack of heel padding and the absence of the heel hole found on the track version. They have to wear K-Tape on each heel when running with the XC Dragonflys. One son had a spike that got bent by 30 degrees after just one race. It is so far jammed into the bottom of the shoe that it can’t be removed. He says it doesn't bother him but the pin location is forever damaged. Performance wise they have worked well. They have enjoyed racing in them.

BEST shoe if you pronate i have coloapsed arches and use insoles and this shoe is a MIRACLE of a shoe i highly suggest this to be your go-to daily use shoe if you pronate.
