Speedy Daily Trainer
The Kinvara 11 is a versatile shoe. It’s not overwhelmingly cushiony, but provides plenty of support during longer runs. I’ve also been impressed with how well it handles quicker tempo runs. I feel comfortable training and racing in this shoe on the road at most distances. The Kinvara 11 is a bit narrow, so may not work for those with wider feet, but the insole is fairly substantial so replacing that with a more minimalist insole may help. The outsole is not the most durable I’ve seen either. I’m about 50 miles in and seeing some slight wear. I usually expect to get at least 300 good miles out of a shoe so I’m hopeful it will last that long. With that being said for runners looking for a shoe that can do it all I would highly recommend the Kinvara 11.
ok Trainers, not so much Running
I love the look of these shoes. I use them in the gym. I played a round of golf in them . I tried to run in them a few times and they weren't very comfortable and I ended up with a pretty bad calf strain.
Excellent shoes
I love the comfort and stability of the shoe. The color select is also great.
Best Overall Shoes
I am on my fourth pair of Kinvara's, two pairs of 10's and two pairs of the 11's. These shoes are so versatile. From easy runs, tempo, sprints or race these shoes can easily handle it all. The 4 degree drop puts my foot in the correct angle for a forefoot strike. The foam seems soft but holds up even on the course country asphalt roads that I run on and my pace is anywhere from 6 min to 9 min per mile. Also Fleet Feet is always willing to help and answer questions, fast shipments, and they really do stand behind what they sale. But these shoes will last for about 400 miles which is better than most lightweight shoes. Thanks
