The changes to the Saucony Guide 16 are minor—designers changed the upper to make it more comfortable and fit your foot better by retooling the laces for a better lockdown. They also eliminated some of the overlays and redesigned the heel cup to make it easier to put on and take off.

One great experience
Called the NYC store on 14th St and spoke with an associate who told me what I had ordered 6 months ago in person. Now in Fl I was able to order them on the Fleet Feet easy to navigate website and 3 days later they were outside my door!
Awesome Sneakers

Great stability shoe and excellent comfort
This shoe is a great mix of comfort and support. It's not quite as soft or cushy as the Triumph however it has better stability and energy return. This shoe is my go to for weight training half court basketball general training and even just running around town. Excellent value as well!

Best version yet of a great shoe
I've been running in Guide's for a lot of years getting a new pair every 10-12 months. So I was excited to read a Wirecutter review of the Guide 16 right when I was due for a new pair. This is a terrific shoe. The new lacing system is a nice addition as well as the reduced weight. I'll keep buying Guides for years to come.
