The clean look and smooth ride of the men's Saucony Guide 14 make it perfect for your training.
Saucony delivers confident strides thanks to its stability technology. The TPU guidance frame creates more durability on the medial side of the shoe, which makes it more stable for runners who overpronate.
Designers built the Guide 14 on a PWRRUN foam midsole that balances cushion and response, and they gave it an engineered mesh upper for breathable support.
With Saucony’s FORMFIT system for an adaptable fit, the men's Guide 14 gives you the comfort and stability you need to keep going.

Time to replace my previous pair of Saucony running shoes and went right back to Fleet Feet for another pair. Great surprise was they were on sale and available in my size and the style I wanted. They are very comfortable and economical. Have also had other more expensive brands and these certainly match up and work for me.
Julie at the Fleet Feet in Bloomington recommended this shoe and I'm very happy with it so far. Nice fit and a great combination of cushion and support.
I wanted to replace my existing shoes exactly (old ones wore out). I found a replacement online, and called my local store in West Hartford to see if I could pick them up there. While they weren't at that store, the person I talked to (female with English accent did not catch name) was very helpful and patient and ensured that when I need new shoes again Fleet Feet will be the only place I shop.
I've got two pairs of the Saucony Guide 14. One in Alloy / Cobalt and another in Jackalope. I thought the only difference would be the colors, but they are clearly different shoes. They come with different inserts and the boxes are different, too. The inserts on the Alloy/Cobalt version are great; soft and supportive. They match my previous experience with other Saucony products. The inserts on the Jackalope, however, are terrible; hard and thin. I would buy another pair of the Alloy/Cobalt but I would not buy the Jackalope again. I wish Fleet Feet would update the product descriptions and either separate the Jackalope to a separate page, or at least make it clear that it is a different shoe and not simply a different color.
If you are overweight these shoes really are for you. I am 240 pounds and I was getting lot aches and pain after a long walk, including blisters. They may not be the best looking shoe in the market, but they fulfill the purpose. I only use these shoes for paved and unpaved brisk walking. I do not use them for running. These shoes have excellent arch support, but more importantly, have easy to remove insole that allows easy insertion of custom orthopedic insoles. I did remove the flimsy insole that comes with the shoe and instead used a special custom insoles.
