This shoe runs a little short. We recommend going up a half-size from your normal running shoe.

Saucony updated this shoe to make it faster than ever. Designers changed the geometry of the shoe, making it a bit wider, to give you a smoother ride as you run. Then they added more of their ultra light PWRRUN PB foam, increasing the stack height and making it more cushioned and bouncy, so you can run faster for longer.
Saucony’s SPEEDROLL technology propels you forward step after step, while a new S-curve winged nylon plate returns your energy throughout your run so your legs feel fresh. It supports your foot throughout your stride, so you can push your pace.
A new upper gives you a better fit throughout your entire foot, while staying lightweight and breathable. In our Saucony Endorphin Speed 3 review, one tester noted, “The upper is simply perfect. My feet feel locked down with plenty of breathability and just that touch of extra padding that’s nice for longer miles. There’s enough room for my wider feet to stretch out as needed.” Plus, there is a XT-900 rubber outsole to let you grip the road as you run.

There were a couple of major changes to the Saucony Endorphin Speed 3. The first is that Saucony changed the midsole geometry of the shoe, making the platform a bit wider to give you more support throughout your run and increasing the stack height to give you more PWRRUN PB foam under your foot. Second, they changed the nylon plate, making it winged; this provides more support underfoot. Finally, designers changed the upper to give you a better fit and feel, as well as adding more rubber to the bottom of the shoe to give you more grip.
The Saucony Endorphin Speed 3 is a great shoe for those runners who are working on their speed and want a lightweight shoe that propels them forward. It is a great everyday training shoe for those who race in a carbon-plated racing shoe, such as the Endorphin Pro 3 or a great race day shoe for those who aren’t ready to invest in an exclusive race shoe.
You will love the Saucony Endorphin Speed 3 for its lightweight feel, responsiveness and propulsiveness. It is a great shoe that is durable enough for everyday training, but light enough with performance features so you can pick up the pace.

Excellent Training Shoe(s)
I used to train wearing the old burgundySaucony Freedom Trainers back in the 1980's; but when my foot-size grew, I needed a 2E-Sized Shoe and Saucony didn't carry many Wide Widths; so I switched to New Balance. After wearing NB for many years, after I had my right hip replaced in early 2022, I needed a "softer/springyer" shoe for Comfort. So I went to a Local Shoe Store and tried on a NB 1080 on my Left foot, & a Saucony Endorphin on my Right. HANDS-DOWN, the Saucony felt like a comfortable Slipper; whereas the NB felt like a "Lead Brick"! I knew I needed to seek out an area store that carried the Full-Line of Saucony Running Shoes and THAT Store was Fleet Feet in Deerfield, IL. I went there and they had my Endorphin Speed in-stock & in MY Size too! They felt GREAT, but due to my Debit Card issue, I instead ordered a pair Online! They arrived within a week and when I went for their Inaugural jog around the block, I was VERY Impressed with their Comfort & Performance! The girl that helped me @ Fleet Feet was VERY Knowledgeable, Friendly, & Professional Too... I WILL be shopping THERE for ALL my future running gear needs!

Best Running Shoe I've Even Worn
This is my race day shoe, which is replacing my Endorphin Speed 1s. Fit is much better than v1. Comfortable out of the box, more snug, same springy feeling. I think they may be a tiny bit heavier, but they feel lighter. Set a 1 mile PR this month on their maiden voyage. Everything about v3 is better than v1 and 2. Improved upper and toe box eliminated the slack from v1. Better lacing system than v1. The plate is new, but I cannot tell the difference from v1, just feels fast and responsive like always.
great racer/trainer, big improvement
Really digging these over the Speed 2. More stable, more cushion, litte more upper material for that comfy feel. They feel at home whether you are at 9/mi or 6/mi. Great trainer and plenty fast for road racing.
